Levitate is a trio of sculptures crafted from glazed porcelain and recycled inner tubes. This collection draws inspiration from the concept of spiritual elevation and the transcendence toward realms beyond our physical existence. The sculptures embody a moment of profound transformation, capturing the precise instance when both mind and body become attuned and prepared to venture into alternate dimensions. Through the juxtaposition of materials—porcelain symbolizing fragility and permanence, recycled inner tubes representing resilience and renewal—Levitate explores themes of transition, elevation, and the metaphysical journey toward the unknown.
